Our 'savoir-faire'

HB-Henriot keeps attaching particular importance to the collaboration with artists. They belong to the Manufacture's staff or collaborate occasionally with the company for decors or shapes creation.

This process has still been rooted in the tradition of the faiencier's jobs.It gave birth to wonderful movements, particularly in the 30's, when the Seiz Breur (a Breton artistic movement) came into the Faiencerie workshops.

For several years, HB-Henriot has relaunched this movement of collaboration with artists. The painters are in demand for new decors, modern artists come to work in the heart of the workshops.

Among the most recent examples, we can mention Mik Jégou, a young artist from Quimper, Michel Costiou, a famous painter who has created a new decor, Celtigraphie, and a Moulin Rouge range for the Manufacture. And of course, the shapes creators, like Odile Landry who comes back occasionally to give birth to this animals' collection, so much well-liked.

This creation, coming from an internal and external emulation, largely contributes to the wealth of the company's patrimony.
